Applying to D1 Big 6 schools Topic

I'm a longshot (or better) for a few Big 6 schools in D1. A couple of questions:

1. Should I apply one at a time (apply to my first choice and see what happens) or just apply to 3-4 at once?
2. What are the most important factors to look for in a school? Baseline prestige? Current prestige? How competitive the conference is?

Apply to all. It won't stick at longshot.

Thanks. What about factors to look for? Primarily baseline?

Longshots and keep looking are basically 0% chance.

I just moved to my first B6 job with Miss State. I'd probably look for just something that isn't a bag of garbage like Hawaii, K-State, Arizona State, Northwestern. You can't be too choosy with what you can get.

You did a heck of a job at Northern Arizona Bhan... Good luck at Oregon State. I thought of grabbing the team from D2... I am still thiking about other D1 Big Six teams.

Thanks zorzii. I wasn't planning on leaving NAU yet since they're returning everybody from a top-25 team, but I figured if I wanted to go to the Big Six, I might as well get started as early as possible. You're doing a heck of a job with WNMU.

Yeah, honestly, the sooner the better. That's the best way if you want to eventually compete. You need to reach A.... prestige. So it takes years to get there.
