hey all,

can someone help me out with where the option to relocate a team is? I'm currently playing Burlington and I thought it'd help with my strong pitching staff but it's hurting me a lot more than its helping I think so I want to move the team. Does this have an ripple effects on players or anything beyond the "stats" of the ballpark?

1. To change cities you have to leave the world before the season gets going, get the password, then re-enter. You'll see a number of park options for your team when you do that.
2. Ripple effects of moving from Burlington to a less pitching-friendly park:
- You'll need more IP (Stamina+Durability) and PA.
- Defense becomes more important. HR-prone P especially will become less effective.
- Velocity and Control become more important.

I thought control was more important than the other ratings in a pitchers park since getting on base is rare.

Of ways to get on base, a walk is the least damaging. In a pitcher's park, it is least likely to have been preceded by/followed with a hit.

Would any of you be willing to take a look at my team and give an opinion if it would be worth moving my team? My pitchers have performed quite well but my offense has been atrocious even though I feel like they should at least be average. My home and away win/loss splits are another reason I'm thinking about relocating.

Your offense will be terrible everywhere. You have one player over 70 VR. 70 is like an average. An immediate improvement is to stop stealing. 66-46 is a waste of baserunners.

Good to know, I was going off the idea that a 60 rating would place a player as being average in that category. Well looks like I'll have to make a serious overhaul of this team...I'm newer to this game so sorry for the newbie questions

This is a pretty solid offense in a slight pitcher's park. Good power, good VR. 9 over 70 VR. That's not a hard number but it's a fine starting point:

This is also an exceptionally good team that would win in nearly any world. Not really a 'starting point' kind of team.

Well, I meant "starting point" to be as a guideline. I can't build a team like that every time but it's a good "starting point" for building a team.
