Recruited a SF in DII that was kind of far away and couldn't scout. These were his floor potentials (what he would get to) to start:

Ath: 62 (high)
Sp: 63 (high)
Reb: 39 (high)
Def: 80 (high)
Blk: 11
LP: 31 (high)
PE: 33
BH: 54
P: 60
ST: 95 (high)

Now, I didn't know what blues were High-High. Now, his floors are as follows:

Ath: 67
Sp: 70
Reb: 42
Def: 82
Blk: 12
LP: 36 (still unsure of high-high or not)
PE: 35
BH: 54
P: 60
ST: 99

Basically, the guy got to be faster than expected. Still a solid rebounder, athlete, and defender. Now in real life, I would want him on the court nearly the whole game (99 stamina) and bouncing from SF to SG. Is there a mechanism to actually do this? I have tried this in the past assuming it works to put a Starter as the #1 backup in another spot. Going through the past games play by play though, it doesn't seem to actually do that.

If that is not something that exists, I want that put into the game. Badly. Because, for example, when my SG gets tired, I'd prefer to bring in my Jr SF off the bench and move this guy to SG. Instead of a soph/fresh guard.

A thought just struck me, to put him as the #1 backup for each and have one (or both?) of the starters above him on Fairly Fresh. Because that will cause him to check in constantly at that position, and then occasionally at the other. This might solve that problem of position, but could hurt his minutes if he ends up being the best option.

I'd play him at SF - he's got a chance to become an ideal defensive stopper, and can move the ball on offense as well. If / when his SPD gets up over 75, then he's fine at SG as well, esp if you're facing a team that has a stronger scorer at SG than at SF.

One other comment - it looks like you're putting some practice time into PER right now. Since he's not a high in PER, I'd take those mins out and put them towards conditioning, reb, and defense. With M2M, he can be playable as soon as his ATH / SPD / DEF are high enough, even without much LP / PER, so I'd really focus on those cores his first year (or longer).

Just the 7 minutes in PER to keep it from dropping.

3 minutes will hold status quo for PER and LP; 7 for others. Those 4 minutes can come in handy.

(And I vote SF for your player)
