Big 6 dominance? Topic

Tark just put out their post season awards, and something struck me. The player of the year wasn't from a Big 6 school, neither was the defensive player of the year. Nor the newcomer of the year. Not too surprising really, I have had the defensive and national player of the year at Utah before.
But what made me write this was the All American teams. First team, only one Big 6 school, Same with the second team. Third team had two, but all the rest were from the "mid-majors" or below. Newcomer of the year should normally go to one of us little guys since we have to promise starts to get guys to come to us, so a FR on a smaller school's team will put up better stats than on a title contending's squad.
But have any of you ever seen a time where the All American teams were dominated by the little schools?

it always is, its primarily stat based and the non majors that play weak schedules rack of great stacks for lower talent.

And big six teams have more depth as they go up in prestige. So they balance out their distro and playing time while mid-majors sometimes rely on two or three players to win.

Yep, this is pretty normal.
