Top Att's by position for FB/Press? Topic

Just looking for some input at recruiting for the FB/Press at the D3 level.
My preference which could be horribly wrong:
PG-1.Speed 2. Stamina 3. Def 4. BH 5. Pass
SG-1.Speed 2. Stamina 3. Def 4. Per 5. BH 6. Pass
SF-Usually just best player I can find with lots of blue..I have leaned toward the ath/def in past if possible which is just habit.
PF-1.ATH 2. REB 3. Stamina 4. Def 5. ??
C-1. ATH 2. REB 3. Stamina 4. Def

C/Pf are the same but I do prefer my pf's to be better faster athletes than my c's.

You value BH over Passing for PG?

For FB, I always thought that ATH was one of the most important attributes, even for guards. Helps you get to the line more.

FOR PG: 1. Speed 2. BH 3. PAss (I try for a good DEF or ATH) and stamina is dependent on how many I have.

even though I value Stamina in both Break and Press, I don't rank it quite as high.

ask yourself, would you rather have a guy with 95 stamina and 70 DEF, or a guy with 70 stamina and 95 DEF?

If I can project a player to mid 70s stamina, I don't worry about it too much. I never redshirt or take walk-ons playing FB/press, for what it's worth. If you try to do that, I imagine stamina would be a little more important. I try not to take guys that don't project to at least mid-70s, and I do try to have at least one high stamina guard and one high stamina big.

My priorities are as follows:
PG: SPD, ATH, def, BH, pass
SG: ATH, SPD, def, per, BH
SF: ATH, def, SPD, BH, FT
PF: ATH, def, reb, SPD, FT
C: ATH, def, reb, FT

I've made the mistake of neglecting reb at D2, and it's cost me some final fours. So I've made that a priority now, at least for PF/C. Free throw shooting is huge, because if you're doing it right, you should get to the line a ton.

Thanks i'll have to research your profile should be easy. I will run these tactics the next generation of students I get here at Chowan. Even though next rebuild I am changing the structure to a 3-3-3-3. I am running a defense work ethic based team now

I would not worry about WE, unless it is less than 25 or so.
