I can see how he'd be a 64 low post. He can't move himself, how could you expect to move him?

Seriously, this was recruitable not a walkon.
I wouldn't of taken him in my work ethic/defense team. He has a athelticisim of 1 and work ethic of 36. I've learn the hard way by getting a guy with 3 work ethic.

takign guys with 3 work ethic is bad, they will be really crappy - but 36 work ethic is ok. of course, the 1 athleticism is terrible :) the player is really bad, but if he was good, it would be work taking him even with 36 work ethic. some people require at least 30, some require at least 20, but just about everyone would take 36 work ethic - its not a big problem.

You keep saying you have a defense/ work ethic based team, you seriously don't need to worry about work ethic except for it needs to be above 30, especially at D3.

Even over thirty is negotiable. In select cases you can get by with as low as 16, say.

Really so I set my standards too high? I require atleast 50 work ethic now after my 1st recruting class. I didn't know that 30 and up is acceptable.

That's if they are already max or close to Max in a couple of important categories

in the right set of circumstances less is perfectly acceptable.....

Mark Batres still has 6 points of speed, 7 defense, and 10 perimeter that he will never achieve but I'd say he was still worth recruiting

Lloyd Tanner still has 5 more athleticism, 10 more defense, and 8 more low post and being he is a junior I expect he will get most of those remaining points.

Some recruits like Batres require a redshirt and others Like Tanner are very easy to develop. Of course these players are different from those with work ethics in the teens or even single digits, but if you have a plan for the guys they could definitely be worth it

AND WORK ETHIC HAS ABSOLUTELY ZERO INFLUENCE ON PLAYERS ON THE COURT PERFORMANCE!

also James West started with a 12 WE and although he was not a complete player he was very useful

Yes, generally 30 will get them to their max at some point at senior season

Again.

Depends on circumstances, for example if you are able to start the guy four seasons in a rebuild.

It's really too bad Simmy didn't grab this kid (yet?)...I love it when Sims take players like this and then schedule exhibitions in 3 seasons or so when the kid is an upperclassman, just for the heck of it.
