I was thinking of any other new ways to help out the new guys as I've been sitemailing a few that are just starting out(one just pulled in a killer class). My newest idea was to record my screen while recruiting like deciding fss, scouting(why or why not they are on my watchlist), basic strategies. Just so its really clear again since most people are coming in with 0 idea of what to expect. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do this, can I just download an app or something?

I'd just use a series of screenshots and comment on what you are and aren't looking for.

In all seriousness, I'm pretty sure if you have a newer iPad (anything with the smaller charging head) and a Mac you can record your iPad screen onto your mac. No additional software required.

Here are some details of what I am talking about. It is pretty easy if you have the hardware to pull it off.

I actually really like this idea Only. Unfortunately, I have no skills in this area and have never done anything like this.

But shockingly, coachward actually has so maybe he can explain how its done!

If you have a google plus channel and a you tube channel (both free) then you can use google plus on a tablet to record (using hangouts) and when you are done, it will be saved in your youtube channel.

The easiest way would be to setup a tripod / holder and point it at your PC monitor and talk while doing the hangout.

I am sure there would be a way to open a spreadsheet or share a web browser screen .. that would take some learning or maybe some software, but filming the monitor should be easy enough.

Once recorded, you should be able to share on your youtube channel.

I found screen cast o matic I think the free version is limited to 15 minutes, but I don't think I need 15 minutes. I'll look at when my next D3 recruiting session is and see about doing it. I'm going to try and focus more on finding players and getting recruiting set up and less on actual recruiting(or at least I'll give basic on what to do in certain situations.
