Recruit Messaging Problem Topic

1 session ago, I got a couple messages from a recruit saying:
1 "My whole family has gone to U of Indianapolis and I want to carry on the tradition."
2 "Why do they make me wait to sign? I guess I'll have to stick to the rules."

I then said that ill redshirt him (I just revoked that) and he sent me a message saying:
"Coach, listen, I wasn't that impressed with U. of Indianapolis so far, it doesn't help your case if you really think you can land a player like me and expect to redshirt me."

Do you think that WIS will change and improve the vague recruit messaging in the next update?

Don't listen to any recruiting messages from players except for scholarship messages.

Also, informing of redshirt is a negative in recruiting

I think they are getting rid of messaging with recruits all together

How is this vague? You took an action, the kid didn't like it and he sends you a message specifically referencing the action taken. What would a clearer message be in this instance?

I understand he didn't like it but what I'm referring to is the change from "you are the best person ever" to "you actually weren't that great even when I did kinda like you" Its non-sensible.

Rednu just told you. You did something the recruit didn't like by informing of redshirt. You need to accompany a inform of redshirt with at least 3 HVs to balance it out.

If they were scholarship messages- scholarship messages show how much the recruit is liking your school, at one point you were his only option and you were in good standing, but then you put a negative effect on him by saying you wanted to redshirt him, so you lost some of his interest. This actually isn't a good example of non-sensible messages, I've gotten some crazy ones.

I dont think there is a easy fix for this "issue", and I sure as hell don't think they will do anything to try and solve it besides what I understand is to get rid of them altogether.

I wouldn't inform a player of a RS until they sign. Then inform them. If their WE drops reinstate them, but don't put them in depth chart wait one cycle and reapply the RS. (This is all done during the 2 preseason games). It has both worked and not worked for me in the pasted. Most of the time they accept the RS after the second time.

that loophole was closed long ago. If the kid refuses and WE drops all taking it off and reapplying it will do is make the WE drop even more.

If they are getting rid of recruit messages, how will we know where to stand with recruits?
