This offseason will be my 1st real chance at recruiting with North Florida. I have 9 other active coaches either in or around Florida. Should I try to land recruits from homestate or go after best available?

You've got to fight for the guys in your home state that are worth fighting for, especially at D2 (or D3) where prestige is next to negligible. (Ditto for players from other states who are within 200 miles or so...). That said, don't feel like that's your ONLY location, nor should you fight for EVERY recruit there -- only the truly elite ones. The nice thing about a D2 budget is you can recruit more nationally and find the gems that slide through the cracks from D1.
