can a 5th year senior as he was not academically elig as an incoming freshman be granted another season if he is hurt in game 2 with a broken finger and will miss at least 6 games and will not be at full strength for at least 12 games?

nope - needs to miss much bigger percentage of the season for medical hardship redshirt - even if anm SR5 could do it which I dont know
