After the first week of games we sit at 7-15, 9 GB of first in the NL East and 7 GB of the WC spot, 3-7 in our last 10 games. With that said, my lineup is starting to level out and perform to their performance history avgs, while also finally starting to overcome the early-season fatigue that wore down my bullpen. It didn't help that in our first 22 games we played 9 games that went extras, as well as being a disappointing 3-6 in 1-run games. Again I feel that once the staff starts to level out with their avgs that the wins will pick up as well. We shall see.

After two weeks of play we are 19-30, 10 GB of first in the NL East and 6 GB of a WC spot. Right after my last post we had our first winning streak of any kind, running off 5 in a row. We then had a 3 game series against the team with the league's worst record and promptly got swept, following up our 5 game winning streak with a 4 game losing streak. We are now 5-6 in 1-run games. I'm about to try going to a tandem A/B rotation with my starters and setup men to help my SP's fatigue and maybe take a little heat off my bullpen at the same time. The lineup is consistently getting on base, just not producing a lot of runs in a hitter-friendly ballpark.
