So easy to fix, yet still a burden for all. We can't get THEWIZ to Virginia, ACC, cause he has B reputation.. He did not even qualify for a C+ Miami(FL). After 10 winning seasons in La Salle and a first round exit in the PIT, I have not qualified for any big six teams, even the C Wake Forest, while I am at B- and have been for over 5 seasons...

!!!! Ridiculous.

More important problems to fix

during the years of lack of attention, improved hiring and firing logic could have made the product waaay better with very small effort

But if you put in more effort into things people didn't want yoy surely get a better product?

It really is idiotic. I jump from D2 where I did NT a lot of times and get Clemson big six. I am qualified to the big six teams also in RUPP, from D2. In Tark, I get from D2, to IUPUI, then decide to get to a real mid-major D1 La Salle, B- prestige, and I have been stuck there forever... 10 seasons. And the more I play, the less I get opportunities because we are always borderline NT, bordeline PIT.. Success is only measured by NT bids really. So, don't bother going to a mid-major if you do not plan to win there or if you don't see it as a solid opportunity. La Salle, in Tark, has been hell when it comes to recruiting. Battles against everyone... So I did my best.

So, youre implying don't go small major after division 2 stay untill you qualify for big6? That's what I been hearing/reading all along and thinking that is the path I am going to go to jump to division 1.

The best way is either go to D2 and stay there for a long time, if you want to get a taste of D1 go as soon as you qualify for a D+ or better job.

~10 seasons at D2 if you do well maybe a little less for a good starter job and then probably 4-6 seasons D2 and then 4-8 seasons low D1.

Whatever you do don't rebuild a low D1 and then move to a midmajor if your plan is for big 6 that just adds time unless its a job you would be winning right away at

Side note on this. Am I the first coach to achieve an F reputation? I mean, I am alone in my conference, but because I cut players I am now stuck in D3 for what will most likely be an eternity.

I never heard something like that before Beachhouse.

Years ago somebody recruited a superteam using numerous illegal benefits for 7 or 8 above-level players. He won the RNG lottery and didn't get busted for any of them.

As I remember it, Old Admin intervened to remove all the superplayers in a mass drive-by shooting, and gave the coach an F rep.

Anyone else remember this?

LOL - - That's quite an achievement beachhouse

You cut your own recruits? Like the handcuffs. Yes. You are stuck there for a few seasons. Might I suggest "beachhouse2"?

Reputation is programmed to mean more to some schools than others, at least at D1. The jump to d2, if you care to do it, only takes 1 season of not sabotaging your own reputation at D3. Then you can jump to any D2 school. However, the only reason to cut your own recruits at D3 is with the plan to stay there for at least 4 seasons. So, I'm not sure how you've hurt anything...yet.

I'll see how it goes while not cutting anyone for a few seasons. Not going anywhere, just find it funny.
