Preferences - "Very Bad" Topic

Anyone know how much of a disadvantage it is having a "Very Bad" for a recruit?

Is it likely to get him or are the chances someone who fits his criteria will find him? It's a top-100 recruit.

Depends on a lot of things. It's only 1 preference, usually he has several. Are you Very Good on the others? That'd balance it out. So it's tough to say but if he's really good then yeah I'd think someone else would have a good shot at him.

Is it safe to assume a "very good" carries equal weight as a "very bad?" So if a recruit only had 2 preferences and one was very good while the other was very bad you'd basically be on neutral ground with that kid, right?

I believe that has been the assumption during Beta. It would make sense that way.

The preferences all have equivalent weight then?

Another thing to ponder -- are there degrees of "very good-ness" or "very bad-ness" in much the same fashion that all A+ prestiges are not created equal?

One thing I will say is that I like the amount of time I have to scout. I can just work on it when I am bored and don't feel pressured to do it in a short period. So, I can plan out my recruiting strategy well in advance.

I am use to scouting like this anyhow... It just takes away the advantage of doing recruiting early like in the past 2.0 gen. But it wasn't meaningful unless you have fss... Btw chapel where is all the guys who said we had to organize recruits when its in our history I would like to debate this feature and how it applies to the new gen..

All preferences are numbers which are shown as grades similar to how prestige grades are shown. Values are capped at some point but there are definitely variances in grade scores (i.e. one can have a better "Very High" than someone else's).

So don't assume that just because you have the same # of Very Highs as someone else that you are on even footing.

Some preferences are weighted more than normal (Play Time, Success) and others don't carry as much weight (Offense, Defense).
