The final world to transition to 3.0, Naismith, started its final 2.0 Recruiting session last night. This is just my opinion, but having recruited-scouted in 3.0 Beta, plus scouted and prepped in 3.0 in Smith and Crum, this final Naismith session really, really feels like i'm playing Atari in 1981.
Probably my favorite 3.0 improvement is this: a reduction or elimination of the effectiveness of 6-player super-classes...
In Naismith, every 2 years I'm matched against a nearby similarly-prestiged 6-0-6-0 school. This school squeezes me in New England and New York, always targeting the same talented players. I've tried battling in the past and have had little to no success.
Of all the issues people have had with 2.0, like job logic, recruit generation, whatever, my main gripe has been the advantages given to these superclass teams. Yes, totally within the rules, and maybe i should have followed the same strategy, but a completely asinine part of 2.0 that will be reduced or eliminated in 3.0.
