So I've filled my slots - can I do anything with pile of leftover cash? I feel so wasteful not saving or using it.....

You can identify an undecided recruit who may not sign with anyone and therefore may go JUCO. Find one you may be interested in. If that happens, put interest in him, and some of that interest will carry over to next season. Slim chances, perhaps, but still something.

That would be true in 3.0, but I think FD is referring to Naismith. The effort toward 2.0 recruits will not carry-over to 3.0. So leftover cash at the end of 2.0 just goes to fund women's lacrosse, or some such.

pkoopman has it right - in anticipation of the launch of field hockey dynasty, the Maryland terps are transferring 28K to our field hockey team - just need to learn all those odd rules that make it a foul on you if a ball strikes your foot.......
