This is definitely a nice change. Having to wait a full cycle to hear back whether a recruit would take a redshirt was annoying and I often forgot to check their response, which would cause some problems when I didn't realize for a week that the player's WE had dropped to 1.

To have them respond immediately is great. This might be old news to most folks, but I just noticed it.
