I took over a team, so i joined during period 2. The sim signed 2 recruits in period 1 while i didnt have control of the team yet.
I couldn't find out how to rescind their scholarships, but i figured "eh, whatever, i can just rescind them next season and get the recruiting cash"

But the game now lists them as being signed by me. So if I cut them next season, I won't get the recruiting cash. Was there a way around this that I'm just missing?

I think I saw something in another thread suggesting this is maybe a bug. Worth sending a ticket over. I agree, if you didn't recruit the player, you should be able to rescind at the end of the year, without consequence.

This is a bug. I supported a ticket and they said they are working on a fix

Not a bug. Sim or human recruits signed during part one recruiting are yours until end of NEXT season. You can revoke them NEXT season, during part two.

Has already happened to me, complained, sent ticket, and told they were mine. Good news is you get the pool created by Sim, and any pool you create.

but you're supposed to get full resources for them at the end of next season. currently you can't. that's the bug

Must be hit or miss or in specific worlds. I took over Bucknell in Allen, and I had full resources and a dog recruit to adopt. Tarv, I wish I could blame my awful part 2 recruiting at East Carolina on that problem, but Sim did not sign anyone part 1....I just plain and simple screwed that up on my own (I have already griped about the two guys signed by D2 School 3 hours after signings and the Late preference. I won't rant more on that).
