What's the value of AP? Topic

I need to know.

Well, first off, it is different for every recruit and every team in every battle .. because it is modified by both Prestige and how well you match up with a recruit's preferences.

We need some info on this cause it seems it could have a huge impact. Went all in on a recruitbefore and got to high against a+ teams. Now, i am minus 2hvs to be all-in and I am stuck at moderate for now.

Yes, it would be helpful to have some detailed analysis by experienced of this topic in one place.

Well .. it is impossible to know the exact calculations as they won't tell us. There are some detailed links that discuss some battles in the beta forums. mully may have some idea how much they are worth. I do not have any idea right now, and will likely not have enough free time to look at it in depth until mid November.

There are links in this post to those battles I was talking about.

Thanks Hughes, again. It seems the system was easy to grasp before, now it's really more complicated. If AP is a multiplier of PRESTIGE difference or value and préférences... It changes strategy.

My guess is 105-130 AP per level of prestige

AP has a set value .. that set value is adjusted by prestige and also adjusted by preferences. So the APs are not the multiplier .. Prestige and Preferences are the multiplier.

So, (as an example, I DON"T know the exact factors) ... Let's say 1 AP has an absolute value of 10 for recruiting effort.

If you had max prestige, you would get the full 10 points. IF you have a B prestige (if A+ is 100% and B is 80%) then you would get 8 points for your AP instead of 10 points. Same with Preferences. They have some percentage they add for or take away from the standard value for 10 based on good or bad preferences.

But Prestige and Preferences are also multipliers (or used to increase or decrease) the Effort Points for HV and CV .. if HV is 200 points as the baseline score, it might be 160 points (again my 80% .. which is JUST A GUESS) for a B prestige and 200 points for A+ prestige. It is then also modified based on preferences.

So each individual item is modified, on the turn you input it, for prestige and for preferences. Which is why you want GOOD for playing time as soon as possible, as it makes every other effort you do worth more.

People ask about the old "considering credits." They are told that the considering credits are gone. In effect, they're not gone, though. "So each individual item is modified, on the turn you input it, for prestige and for preferences. Considering credit meant the earlier you were leading on a prospect, you got some extra credit for the recruiting actions already taken. That's not the case in 3.0. Kind of liked considering credit, because now there is no real incentive to battle early. There is no advantage to doing a HV in the first cycle instead of the last cycle. I also wish they would have left in the childhood favorite team. That never meant a whole lot, but it meant a little.

Well . . There is an advantage to doing that HV after you promise playing time to a recruit who 'wants to play' . . Because it is worth more when modified by a Very Good preference for playing rime than it is if you are neutral preferences do playing time.

But there IS incentive to get to the point where you can offer time &/or a start as early as possible, as hughes described. That may not be "incentive to battle early" but it certainly is incentive to put in recruiting effort early.
