I am getting ready to go on the clock for a draft league (non-live) and it has really made me get back into this game. I was wondering if there were 15 other live players out there that would be interested in a $120 mil cap, no DH, AAA or WW, exclusive player rights draft? I guess the cap would be negotiable same with the number of teams but I don't think we'll have more than 16 if there is even that many guys. I guess owners could have 2 teams but that would be tough to keep up with pick times and needs for each team but I'd be all for it to help fill it.

Yea only 1 instance of a player in the whole league coupled with the cap I believe it's going to be fun and challenging to put a roster together.

By one instance of each player do you mean one instance of Addie Joss, or one instance of 1908 Addie Joss, while someone else could take 1907 Addie Joss, etc?

(1) Joss in the whole league, which year is up to the owner, with 16 teams I figured I'd better cap it or the teams would be ridiculously good, there will be a lot more strategy involved with a cap too!! Glad to have you, you may want to play a few exhibition live games to get back into the swing of things ozo!!!

I suspect some teams might not make it to the cap.  Look up the 16th-best MIF option at each position, or even the 10th catcher.  At a cap like $120 million, there really isn't that much talent to go around outside of 1B and maybe RP.

I'm in the 7th round of a live draft now and I don't think there will be any trouble staying under the cap but I'd be willing to bet there are some guys in that one who are picking based on salary, which is cool...better team for me!! Their teams are probably going to be in the $150 to $200 mil range if I had to guess. With 6 picks under my belt in that draft this one is going to be so much harder (but a lot more fun) strictly because you can't just take Ruth and not think about what season you're gonna use, if you take the $17 mil year and say you are planning on a 60mil/60spending budget you're gonna really be hurting at the other positions due to the fact you only have $43 to spend on the rest of your position players and a bench. Budgeting is going to be crutial, I'm not to worried because a majority of the live coaches do $120 leagues all the time so we should have a good idea where to be at money wise.
