Decisions aren't made the first day so applying at 3 am or 3 pm on the first day is the same thing. The only time it would matter is if you are applying for a job that someone forgot to renew at.

application order isnt a factor in getting the job

as piman notes, the only effect of when one applies in that first cycle is that once any application is made they wont give back a team to a coach who says he just forgot

so this really is a nothing issue
