I'm personally curious if there's a way to see NON D1 school signing ranked D1 prospects. I know I just signed 3 of them, albeit not top 100. 1/3 of my D3 roster is projected D1 talent now, we'll see how that works after a few seasons.
Yeah I'm sure the answer is probably zero.

But to be fair, it's really not a great apples to apples comparison. The recruit generation doesn't really reflect real life so you can have ranked players in HD that really wouldn't be in ranked in real life. And projected D1 players in HD are sometimes just average D3 players.

It's just a totally different system of rating and ranking, trying to compare to real life. In real life, players that are even closely to being ranked are going to have D1 offers. In HD you're going to have players that maybe COULD play D1 ball only getting offers from D3 teams.

Net- I posted how it compares to real life but personally I don't think it really matters. It's just too different to compare.

I agree with Zorzii and I'm okay with the top 100 signings getting more spread around. That's fine. I won't really complain there. My bigger gripe is where a B10 team promises a start and gets beat by a D2 team. That's just silly.

It's definitely different. I appreciate the work Benis :) I'm all for non B6 teams getting good talent, my issue has always been the other divisions. But I'm not summoning that battle.

I guess it's under another username.
yes, under guyo27. made altid for a d3 challenge in phelan, that has never been a secret
I wasn't being accusatory. I just wanted to see them. Saunders, Bradbury and Nevin?

I missed on a couple D1 projections when SIM D1 schools showed up. I was wondering if I overshot or if SIM D1 just picks up whoever late. Thanks.

Sorry, didn't mean to come across that way :) Nevin was projected D3, signed him in period 1. Bradbury, Saunders were both ranked D1, Wilmoth was a D1 JUCO 2. Signed both of them in period 2 after getting to Moderate in period 1. Signed Reynoso (ranked D1 prospect) last season.

They're not awesome, and to an extent it's just how the sim decided to put the numbers, but they'll all be solid for D3. I'm just very much unused to recruiting like this. Even with back to back NT title appearances, and a solid A+ I never pulled a D1 kid to D3 in 2.0. (maybe because there's not many within 70 miles of Oneonta)

Yeah, they're similar(but slightly better) to what I was chasing. In truth, I'm not sure why a D1 would have wanted either of my guys(and it was confirmed by several vets) but you can't argue with SIMMY. SIMAI D1 is like the honey badger, he don't care, he takes what he wants.

Going to try to find some time to put it all into exact figures later today, but at first glance I'm surprised to see how many non-B6 signees aren't local recruits. Some interesting recruiting strategies location-wise being taken by mid major schools seem to be paying off.
