Why would this happen?
E. Texas Baptist is playing a spread offense (hold ball) and a man to man (-4)


That's my poiuyt team. I assume it's my settings but, nonetheless, I know I didn't set "Hold ball when tied with 10 seconds left".

Did your team attempt a shot before OT?

Ten seconds left in a tie game, I'm definitely holding the ball for the last shot.

Ages ago in a similar end game where there was no shot, customer support said that they were playing for last shot but not able to get the shot off - but nothing else reportable (like a foul or steal) happened.

No shot. Smells buggy but, if it's happened before, they know and are content with it. But they need to add "heave shot from mid-court with 1 second in tie game" if it's gonna stay that way. Just fling it up. I'd have been OK with that.

Engine could have changed since I last remember a response from admin, but the essence of the answer was that sometimes in real life they just dont get off a shot. Not much fun for the user.

Shot came after buzzer, PG dribbled ball off his foot.... would be nice if the PBP provided this clarification, but it doesn't seem buggy that sometimes kids just don't execute.

When i played more, I specialized in the end game dribble ball off foot play.

I wasn't complaining. As I said, I assumed it was me. I've seen kids not get one off with 20 seconds left.

FWIW, we got one off from half court at the end of the game, 4 seconds left.
That one was end of OT1.
We shot a full court one at end of OT2, 1 second left.

It has to be a bug, because in the play by play it says "hold ball". If he didn't get a shot off without that description, then it would make a bit more sense.

No, at the end of the game and OT2, when we got shots off, it said the same thing. I'm assuming that means "hold ball for last shot". Although, with one second and inbounding, as we did at the end of OT2, I don't think there's much holding of balls. Unless Draymon Green is in the game.

I think it's just poor wording. "All your base are belong to us" type wording.
