I also heard that it takes 5 seasons to qualify for low div 1. It also takes 2 National Tournament appearances to qualify for Low div 1. Also can I build Unc Wilimington perstige when I get their?

You would need to win a NT game, which it is unlikely you will do.

If you make the NT, you may qualify for a D, I think you would qualify for all D-'s.

If you finish over 500 but not NT, you may qualify for a D- but I don't think so.

So my best bet is to finish .500 and see if I qualify? They are actually a C- but perstige is going to drop this season. Wouldn't be able to qualify for them anyhow. My season is almost over been contemplating starting and developing my underclassmen since last night game.

Fly on the wall; why not stay at the school you are at for 3-4 more seasons and then make the jump. You gain more experience in recruiting which as a DI will be considerably tougher for you.

I am staying for 2 more seasons, I have two great developed classes coming in to be upperclass. I was thinking about recruiting div 2 players since its low major.

As a D2 you should be focusing on recruiting D1 low levels. As a D1 I don't think you should ever want a D2 level guy. I am at D3 and I've been going for D1 low levels. In the new system, why shoot yourself in the foot by recruiting lower than you need to.

I have been focusing on division 1 players as a division 2 team. But its going to be a sim filled conference as I am trying to rebuild and put UNC Wilmington as a powerhouse in the conference. Since its low major and not making it out of the first or 2nd round at all I think it would be wise to recruit division 2 players.

good luck with a plan based on recruiting lower level players - unless they have great potential, I think thats a bad plan but go with your preferences.

if they have great potential they could belong in DI
