Excuse me if this is posted somewhere but I can't find it anywhere... My question is I have zero seniors on my team this year so I have no scholarships to recruit anyone this year. Can I cut a guy the sim recruited? Do I have to cut him before this season starts? this is my first season do u need to have more seasons purchased in future to be able to do this? Appreciate any help
After the end of the season, during the second recruiting session, you'll be able to cut players. You won't get penalized for cutting players you didn't sign. (I've heard it's possible to lose other players when you cut a guy "in solidarity". Never happened to me, and it sounds pretty rare - haven't heard of it happen in the new version of the game.)
You can track guys during the first period, and if it looks like a good player or two will slip through the cracks, it would be a good idea to cut a scrub or two. But you'd probably want to wait until very close to the time when you could sign them - so in the last 24 hours, if you're tracking D1 players.
