i want to join Allen but it sais it's not accepting new coaches. But, it also sais new sign ups begin Jan 30th I'm confused.

I wasn't being sarcastic - I was being completely sincere. If new sign-ups start on January 30 (three days from now), you need to wait three days to sign up.

It's better to sign up than to reserve a team. You will get into 2nd recruiting session if you sign up, if you reserve, you will play a team that did not recruit.
