It happens. It really just depends on the individual recruit. I've redshirted Srs and Jrs too. It's pretty random. Sometimes it flys, sometimes not. General rule is the better the player, the less likely it will be for him to accept the RS........but that isn't 100% either. The worst he can do is be ******, then you remove it or leave it. I have TRIED to make players transfer by doing this and had about the same amount of random luck.
