Should sim coached teams be limited to taking 3-4 walk-ons? We have a Colorado team in Big 12 Smith that has 7 walk-ons

3 walk ons and 4 vacant spots.? That doesn't sound like s great idea

3 walk ons and the other 9 on scholarship. Right now some schools have 7-8 walk-ons and only 4-5 scholarship players on a team. You just run uptempo and game over you win.

That's an indication of a different issue with recruiting. The issue is whether there are a sufficient number of recruits at level to complete assignments at the close of recruiting. There aren't. Until there is some protection for D1 recruits this will not improve. I doubt anyone would be thrilled if Simmy recruiting significantly improved, so there need to be more D1 recruits protected. Currently, there is some glitch with availability of recruits left over for assignment to Big6 schools.
