I moved up to D1 in Tark and Simmy signed a recruit that I don't like in the 1st recruiting period. We are about to start recruiting 2 - is there a way to rescind the scholarship to the recruit and re-recruit this spot this season or will I need to do it after his freshman year? I'm guessing I have to eat the bad signing.

Nope, unfortunately you'll need to wait until after next season to cut him.

Wrong, you take the rep hit and get ZERO recruiting resources. You get "butkus" for cutting your own recruits. I know this as fact and complaining about a "known" issue will make you even madder. They have known of this problem since the end of "beta" (or are we still in beta, I am confused sometimes) and have refused to change the code. It must dovetail into something else, because during the beta this problem only started during beta season six or seven, and not previously.

I have found that recruiting on your base 20 AP especially at D1 is very tough.
