I'm D-2 and I recruited a D-1 projected guy (484 rating). He would be the lowest rating guy on my team and I have 2 pg's that would get the mins over him. I want to RS him. Is his WE going to go way down if I do this? Sorry if this is a rookie question, I haven't redshirted someone before.

Perhaps. It doesn't matter though. If it drops you can just remove the redshirt and his WE will return to its starting value.

Yup. Just try it and see what happens. It might not drop or it might only drop a few points and you can live with it.

usually you want to RS guys with lots of potential too.
