My DII team Missouri Southern St. Has been recruiting 3 DI recruits that are ranked between 90 and 150ish for position rank. I have been battling one school for one of the recruits but it has been wide open for the other two. I am wondering why I still only have moderate interest still. The two guys that I am the only school recruiting them have Very Good in 2 of thier preferences and no other open preferences. Any input?

D2 cannot go higher than moderate interest in the first cycle. You can still distance yourself from other schools but cannot sign a D1 recruit until cycle 2 so the game won't let you go above moderate.

Yep, what bagger said. And for D3 you cannot sign a D1 recruit until the final 24 hours of session 2.
