Can I not start this guy in the CT and NT?

how many messages has he sent complaining about starts and after what games in the schedule?

By my reckoning, you have made a mistake by allowing him to go under 80% with 2 games remaining in the RS. Clearly, you must start him to get him to finish 21 of 26! CT minutes likely count, but CT starts probably don't. NT anything does not matter.

However, he's +5 on WE. I would guess that finishing him with 21 starts in the RS and playing significant minutes in the CT (over any promised made) and your nearly 100% safe...even if you sat him the whole way through the NT!

He's never complained.

if he has never complained and his WE is up, I think you have a good chance that he is fine and wont leave. You can reinforce that with more regular season starts. I bet - just a bet - that you dont need to give him any postseason starts to keep him.

players vary - absence of complaInt and increased WE are signals he is okay

"players vary - absence of compliant and increased WE are signals he is okay"

I think this as well. Even if this aspect of the game has changed, I imagine we would still get warnings before someone transferred.

I mentioned this in the other thread, but if he hasn't complained by the conference tournament, you should be fine. He's not always going to complain if he gets under 80%, because complaints don't go out after every game. But since he's currently 20/25 80% right now, I would be sure to start him in game 26 just to be on the safe side.
