Well it seems at least one coach has figured out how to exploit the RS to his advantage:

3 players with 100+ rating increases with 40+ WE increases, one of which is a bench player with 0 starts and under 15 minutes. Also some players have had WE increases in the offseason somehow.

Feel sorry for the coaches he's already beaten in the NT...

I know it's tough being the dullest goose in the gaggle, but follow along here, benis. These are two separate features. It's entirely possible that one of these features is working as intended, while another has an unintended glitch that is being exploited, and therefore not working as intended. We're civilized human beings, we are capable of drawing distinctions, right?

But it's definitely NOT possible that both aren't working?

Given the track record of issues, bugs, glitches and inconsistencies around here.. I have no idea which it could be.

A place to start, I think, is to look at if it's something that's being exploited for someone's advantage. If it is, ask yourself if there's a plausible real world corollary. If there is none, it's probably a bug. The work ethic issue and the considering list issue fit both criteria.

Well I dunno... some people are still saying only 10 teams showing on the considering list is a feature while others are saying it's a bug.

No clue which it could be! So confusing!

First point, if you can lose WE points for redshirting then why can't you gain WE points for unredshirting? You would think he would be more motivated by the coach letting him know that he isn't going to be redshirted.

And there have been coaches who have publicly admitted doing this in another thread a month back. Oh because they only gained a couple of points of WE on average or their team is 6-22 it all of a sudden makes it right? But then all of a sudden when the coach reaches the Elite 8, all of a sudden it's exploiting a glitch?

There have been at least 2 tickets submitted to CS on the issue, so if it's a glitch, loophole or whatever you want to call it, why hasn't anything been done about it? If you believe it to be a glitch, then the responsibility lies on CS.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be changed, but again, damn right I'm going to gain an advantage if they're going to give it to me. Every coach that wanted to win tries to "exploit" the system, whether it's playing 3-2 zone -2, because it works better than it should. Or getting a bunch of 90+ Ath+Def using man to man because it works better than it should.

I just want to know how many times you had to redshirt the guys to reach such a high level. That's my only curiosity.
