If $12.95 is a deterrent, you shouldn't be playing games.
Or maybe I'm smart enough to realize the value is not worth it. I could spend that $13 on games that offer far more content with actual support.

mbriese actually just asked me about playing HBD. I probably would really like it. Unfortunately I already spend way too much time on HD (I think we can all agree on that) so I don't think I could really handle more sim games in my life without quitting my job or breaking up my woman.

Plus fantasy football is starting up soon so that that takes up time too.
So this is a time-consuming game where you really win nothing?

Do you think that is a selling point to the millions who are missing out?
Well, these boards are probably much more time consuming than the game itself.

I'll put that as an option too. Never post or read the message boards and I can pick up HBD. I'm sure a few of you probably like that option.

I have two HBD teams and, beyond the off-season, it isn't too terribly time consuming. Worth nothing that I've not been great at HBD historically, so maybe those two things are related.

I just talked my roommate (a fantasy football and baseball nerd) into trying out HBD, and he's already excited by the level of minutiae he can (but isn't required to) get in to when shopping for trade partners. I still think you should give it a shot, Benis. [/salespitch]
