This is the 1st time I've seen this in 3.0.

3 of the 5 players on my watch list that signed on the very 1st cycle had Sign by End of 1st Period as a preference.

I don't recall seeing any of those sign in the 1st 24 hours before.

I wonder if the tendency is to signing closer to the end of the 1st recruiting period, "unless" the team that's ahead has a considerable margin over the next closest team. Otherwise, why else would they have "early" and "by the end of the 1st period"? That would be my guess.

We asked Seble to put in that type of logic but he kept it so that recruiting leads had no impact on when the player signs.
