Ningles alluded to a big key in this battle. The difference between a high B and a low B prestige at D1 can easily be 10% in effort. Looking at the resumes I'd say Georgia's B is higher than UNC's B. With everything else being just about equal and there being zero preferences to gauge I think this result makes sense. The difference between 90 APs is negligible when both teams are maxed out on effort (CV, HV, promises). Even with Florida's mid to high B+ prestige they couldn't overcome a 500 AP deficit.
