We’re in 1st session both offered sch both at moderate. He is a human coach. Am I wasting my time I promised start, promised 15 min have a bunch of points on him. I’m the d3 coach

Maybe not. Couple key factors are:

What's both of the teams prestige?
Are you closer than him?
Can you invest 10-15 HV?
How many openings (and thus AP) do both of you have?

I would immediately offer 20 minutes (if you are gonna start and play 15, 20 is doable) and then figure out if you're willing to blow your budget on him.

I def can’t do 10 hv I can offer 20 min I can spend 40-50 ap I have 5 sch only filling 4 of them I was on him several cycles before him. My prestige is a b his is an a. I have 3 pref as good

Does he have enough resources to do 10 HVs? you can also search other local recruits and see if he is a battle or two...that's time consuming and doesn't always yield results.
