Yes. Looks D1 quality to me. I'd use him as SF or SG.

(disclaimer: I've never coached D1, but ath/def are weaker than you want. He makes up for it w everything else.)

are potentisls good?

Above ratings are his projected out ratings given his current potentials

Ah. If you played zone, I'd say definitely. Since you play man, I still like him... depends though on how he fits with your other guys.

I think he’s a bench scorer but nothing more. Let him get 10ish minutes as the third 2 or 3 or both . I don’t see what else he brings to the table, he’s way below average on defenses no matter where you play him, his guard skills are lower than you want and he would be a good rebounder at the 2 but below to average at the 3.

he might be useful in a fb/press situation. That’s the only way to maximize his speed. He could play small minutes at the 1-4. Super sub!

Yeah bench 10 min sf

Yeah, he's a usable SF.

What O/D?

Yes. ATH/DEF are a little weak, but I would recruit him. As everybody else has pointed out he would be a key role player off bench.

I wouldn't start him due to his defense, my minimum for a starter is 70+ unless I have no other options. I honestly like him at SG as in D1 even high end SG will have better than 50+ ATH. SF generally will have 70+ at both skill sets easily to be competitive. He is definitely a good player and useable at D1 but I wouldn't start him unless I didn't have a choice.

Most of my teams play press/zone combo defense, FWIW.

What I like about him:
Cheap. Though if I have to invest lots of APs or any visits, then I really don’t like anything about him, so that’s #1.
Versatile, he can play 1-4, so makes a good sub.
Good offense, should be a weapon with 3rd year IQs.

His deficiencies are obvious, and you don’t want too many projects like this clogging up your roster. But if you can get him cheap, and have a place to hide him for a couple seasons, he can be valuable. Bonus points if you play zone or press.

Jokes on you guys! He just left Arizona early after his sophomore season! Scored 11ppg off the bench as a 3/4 hybrid for a 1 seed.

Nice. Bears noting that you did end up utilizing him as a sub at multiple positions, taking on a more prominent role in his third year.

Do you remember how much he cost? Did anyone fight you for him? IMO, the big value of these types of players is that people don’t often fight for them.

He sure has a scoring value but costly on defense.

Are you upset he left after his third year? Is he replaceable in your opinion?
