I just got a new message I’ve never seen before.

“our cardio tests show .... shouldn’t be playing 36 minutes a game, i think it’s affecting his play, your call though”

what does this mean? Is he gunna get hurt if I keep playing him 36 minutes per game? Or is it just letting me know that he is going to be tired at the end of games?

My guess is both. What is his Stamina?

69, it’s on my VT team with 7 players, so I don’t have much of a choice. Everyone is on fairly fresh fatigue settings

With 7 players I think you're better off setting everyone to Getting Tired. That should allow your subs to get a few more minutes. Could also try setting your starters to fairly fresh and your subs to getting tired and see how that plays. By setting everyone to fairly fresh you're guaranteeing that your starters will be extremely fatigued at some point in the game.

I've never seen that message though. Probably just an FYI and not a warning about injuries or anything.

Saw it years ago.

It means he is playing a good number of minutes when tired or very tired. Does not by itself mean anything about odds of injury.

Its designed to alert the unwary to fatigue effects.

Read Immediately - David Rikard
Coach, I'm sorry to be the one to break this to you, but our best efforts couldn't save Rikard. He died last night. I've always wanted to say that! Seriously, it's deep thigh bruise. He's at about 90% right now.

Obviously he could benefit from some rest, but I don't think you're taking a huge risk if you decide to play him.

OK good, so it’s not a warning of a heart attack or something coming on. I will mess with the fatigue settings.

Yeah, it freaks some people out when they first read it. Seem to remember a coach coming on the forums to rant about it without realizing that he hadn't actually lost the player. I always liked that one though.

****Any guesses on how long it takes until someone posts the Shhh-Bang! e-mail? Or was that one finally retired?****
