Baseline Prestige Job Qualification Topic

Quick question.

Say a school with B baseline prestige is currently at D prestige. Will qualification for this job be based on the B or the D?

Or the other way around. Say a C- baseline is at A+ and that coach leaves. Will that job be available to coaches who qualify for other C- positions or just available to coaches qualified for A jobs?

Just wondering, thanks

In my experience, the job algorithm considers both baseline and current prestige. You can qualify for a high baseline school that you wouldn't ordinarily if it's currently down. And you might not qualify for a low D1 that's currently cresting at A-. But B+ UConn is still going to be more demanding than B+ Long Island.

I think this is correct as well.

Agree. I collected some data on this recently, you may find it useful.
