Assuming it has the right personnel, what offense and defense do you hate facing? Specifically, which creates the greatest match up issue? My guess is fast break and full court press.

I don't find any of the offenses particular significant. I like playing fastbreak teams because they can't slow it down.

Press is the most annoying defense because it's usually folly to play uptempo against it (unless you are clearly superior) ... and I like to go uptempo.

I hate facing press defense the most. Because i don’t know how you are supposed to gameplan to beat it. Against man you pick on weak defenders. Against zone, you can attack from deep if it’s an options and more minutes for your better passers maybe. I have no idea what to strive for against press...... higher distro for good ball handlers? Match speed for speed? Just throw a team out there and hope? I just haven’t figured it out yet.

FB/Press is the least fun to gameplan against, but it can "easily" be beaten with a Slowdown. For me, it's a 3-2 Zone with Slowdown. The engine does funky things.

Agree with Pallas on the 3-2 zone slowdown is funky but I usually have 2-3 LP scorers so I can beat it.

2-3 slowdown is my least favorite because I always lack shooting.

Press. No matter what, it will create more turnovers than usual. Which leads to more shots for them. They may F it up but they'll get more shots than the other defenses will.

I dislike press/zone equally, but probably press more because it will typically kill me when I have freshmen guards with low IQ who can't hit free throws. Or I will just end up with the dreaded 50% free throw game even with good free throw shooting and lose 15-20 points because I shoot 20-40 FTs.

I dislike triangle, for some reason, I never get the right lineup so I gave up.

I enjoyed flex but it's tough to get the guards under 3.0

I hate playing against a flex with 3 good shooters and 2 good rebounders. If I defend the 3, I give up too many tip-ins.

I hate FB/press because it creates chaos and there is no good way to gameplan around it other than playing around with tempo.

I always prefer to play man teams because I can try to target their weakest defender.

It depends on how my team is built. I have had a few D3 teams that I specifically designed to beat FB/FCP. So for those I hated facing zone teams that had superior athleticism. My superior depth, speed, and bh were less of an advantage against zone.

But if I am trying to get by with 8 or 9 players, I obviously hate facing FB/FCP.
