I wonder if these purchased will have an impact on our beloved WIS games?

"Minneapolis-based fantasy operator SportsHub Technologies has acquired the game operations of rival entity MyFantasyLeague, continuing a run of transactions for the company. Financial terms were not disclosed. SportsHub acquired CDM Sports, Sports Technologies, LeagueSafe, the National Fantasy Championships and WhatIfSports over the past two years as it seeks to consolidate much of the middle tier of fantasy sports. MyFantasyLeague operates in a fee-based, draft-only style of fantasy football commonly known as MFL10s. The games are growing in popularity but increasingly are requiring a license in many states similar to daily fantasy, something SportsHub is better equipped to manage."

I'd like to think the long term vision is for Hub to cross promote games between its sites and brands.

I like the strategy more with Hub than I did with Fox, which always seemed to treat WIS as budget dust. Hub's smaller scale should work to WIS' advantage.
