Hypothesis: In the 2-3 zone, "mid range jumpers" are primarily (or most significantly) covered by the SF and PF.

Experimentation: I gave four fast guards on my team very high distro and a -2 setting.

Expected Result: My guys should tear up the 2-3, hopefully 60% FG.

Key players:

Ronald Nitta
Name Ath Speed PER LP BH 2fg%
Ronald Nitta 29 91 85 14 68 21-44
Juan Morales 46 78 91 16 57 5-8
Christoper Agar 38 98 92 1 94 24-44
William Noonkester 45 86 70 29 86 17-32

Defense of the starting 3 and 4 is more or less 40 ath 40 speed 45 DEF

DISTRO is 5 each...three other guys have a 2 and one 1.

Not what I expected, the guards basically shot their season average. I did notice they got fouled alot, but the fouls came from all over, SG and SF mostly and then the CENTER position. The other teams CENTER had two blocked shots on jumpers but I don't think that means anything.

Their season averages at 2fg of near 50% are pretty dang good though. You'd be hard-pressed to find any real-life coach who wouldn't be ecstatic to have their team shooting 50% from mid-range.
