dahsdebater made a comment about fandom. How, if you're a fan of a successful team, you are somehow less of a fan. I said "That is a tad retarded" and explained that I became a Yankee fan when they were terrible. And picked one of the worst players as my favorite(I was 6 and played 2B for the BP Yankees). I didn't call anyone "retarded", at least, until panties got bunched(most notably cubcub) at the use of the word "retarded".

I'd say "I'm sorry if that offended anyone" but that would be a lie. I don't lie.

This is the last thing I'll say on the matter, partly because I know no one here is going to change your mind, partly because the Tournament is minutes from tipoff and I'd much rather focus my energy there. But if you are a fraction of who you portray yourself to be here, I feel sorry for you. Your life must be hard. Given your post count, you spend a lot of time here. Given your confrontational and aggressive nature, you spend a lot of time here arguing with people. Troll or not, that's a lot of time and energy to devote to a single thing.

I think I remember you saying you were married with a family. For their sake, Mike, I hope you're a different person in real life.

Because I don't take the internet overly serious? Honestly, if I took offense to every insult cast my way, I'd be traveling the US looking to fight people.

Oh, and 3.0 absolutely needs some tweaking (to start, slash effects of APs/jack up effects of preferences). But recruit gen in DI has also been broken for years. There are those who strongly feel that 3.0 would have been unnecessary had recruit gen been fixed.
