I seem to recall reading something many moons ago re: grades affecting iq development. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thanks!

From my understanding HS GPA affects the growth of IQ but not college GPA. WE is the biggest contributor to IQ growth.

Thanks man. Yeah, I knew WE played a big part. Wasn't sure about the grades. Thanks for the clarification.

Agree with carson -- the HS GPA impacts rate of growth, the college GPA is only useful for keeping them eligible.

I think high school gpa is nearly as important as WE.

an average guy with 3.0 gpa and 50 WE, will improve IQ about the same rate as a guy with a 2.4 gpa and 70 WE, and almost the same as a 3.6 gpa and 30 WE.
