I feel like once the Conference Tournament comes upon us you don't have to start or play minutes to Freshman who you made promises to anymore. Am I remembering that correctly? If my guys MPG dip below the threshold I'm not going to get cracked, am I?

You are remembering correctly, and you won’t get cracked. If you go into the conference tourney with him still upset about minutes, you can use the CT to get him more minutes. But he won’t become upset by not getting time in the postseason.
