How do you redshirt a guy? Topic

Just playing D3 and want to start using the redshirt, but can't figure it out. Is it done retroactively in a manner of speaking? I look for the box to click to get redshirt for the upcoming season and don't see it. Or is it that you just don't play the guy the whole season and that "gets me to that box, redshirt retroactively?

Coaching > Manage Roster > Screen where you can rescind scholarships and apply/remove redshirts

It also depends at what stage you are in the season, if you look in the Schedule -> World Schedule you will see the dates for when the redshirt deadline is. You might not see it in Manage Roster because you in the middle of the season when you can't redshirt

Technically you can redshirt any player during the season until they see the court in a non exhibition game. So if you’ve been benching a player all season, the “Redshirt” option will be there!
