Driving to work this morning I was just thinking about some out of the box strategies that I could hypothetically try to experiment with. I think it would be cool if there was a sandbox mode in the game where I could throw a team together and simulate like 50 games just to see what would happen. More specifically, maybe I want to try an entire lineup of no-power all-defense guys with a pitching staff that emphasizes control, velocity, and g/b and doesnt care that much about splits; or maybe the exact opposite of that. Maybe I want to see what a lineup of all lefty power hitters would do in Yankee Stadium. I just think it would be cool to take any 25 guys from my entire world and sim a series or half season with them in sandbox mode. Do you guys think that would be at all interesting or helpful?

I think the theory is sound but I think that the site would be unlikely to provide something like this because it could give away the parameters of some of the formulas that they are using to simulate the results. It would be nice to have a little more insight in how the mechanics of the site work as a GM but I suspect that there are other more pressing issues in the game to address first.
