Show me some D3 teams racking up titles with D3 projected players.

How many baskets do those projections make? How many fouls do they make, or draw? How many free throws do they make, or miss? How many passes do they complete for an assist? How many steals do they make? How many blocks? How many rebounds do they get?

Zero. Zero, zero. Zero, zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero.

Can't get much more irrelevant than that.

I chuckle when people say stuff like "this is meaningless" or "this doesn't matter" or "this is irrelevant". It's a gross oversimplification and just flat out wrong.

Like "overall rating doesn't matter". Yes, it matters. It gives a general idea about the team. Is it going to be the only thing that determines if a team is going to win a title or not? No, of course not. But neither is average ATH/Def but people use that to get a general idea whether team is good or not. In general a team with a very high overall rating is good.

Same thing with the division projections. In general the players projected at D1 are MUCH better than players projected at D3. Are there exceptions? Of course. DUH. But you're going to have a much easier time finding good players in the D1 pool than the D3 pool. This is obvious. And why is it it obvious? Because everyone that is good at this game doesn't recruit D3 projected players. You think that's by accident? Derp.

To be perfectly honest, the best player I've had in this game was a D3 recruit...

He ranks 4th in scoring, 8th in assists, 8th in steals and 13th in 3pt% all time at my school.

He came in 24/24 ath/def 468 overall. Ended up 731 with 100 Per 95 BH 83 Pass and 86 WE.

Having said that, he was in my first class and I don't even look at D3s anymore and I would never consider an F+/F+ ath def recruit now.

Well, you proved me wrong with that one. Your sparkling post is definitely more irrelevant than a string of zeros.

As for "Because everyone that is good at this game doesn't recruit D3 projected players. You think that's by accident?" Of course it's not by accident. Good coaches recruit by skill attribute, which is key, not division projection, which is irrelevant.

And as for "Show me some D3 teams racking up titles with D3 projected players." Show me the D3 champions recruiting strictly by projection and ignoring skill attributes.
