Defensively, M2M, for a SF....

Player 1... 87 ATH, 44 SPD, 9 REB, 68 DEF, 1 BLK, C IQ

Player 2... 64 ATH, 46 SPD, 63 REB, 67 DEF, 41 BLK, B- IQ

I'm not sure rebounding matters for this, but I added it in case anyone asks. The main difference is IQ and ATH

ok now it's corrected

#1 unless you have severe rebounding deficiencies in your big men... and even then it's close.

For man to man, I’d probably use #2 most of the time, at least until #1 is up to B- range IQ. Block and Reb aren’t huge at SF, but they aren’t irrelevant either, so unless my opponent is a weak rebounding team that gets most of its points from the perimeter, I’ll probably want #2 to have more minutes. #1 may get a slight advantage if the opposing SF is a perimeter scorer, and my primary goal is to suppress his looks. But even then, I hate putting a C IQ guy on a scorer I’m worried about.

ETA I cheated and looked at your Slippery Rock team, which is how I determined you had the IQ backwards. The PF type has the higher IQ.

Rebounding is great.... BUT.....

Some of you may be scratching your heads, I had the IQ backwards. I'll change it right now.

Assuming all other ratings are equal, #2 is the better player at SF. Not a huge fan of slow SFs that don't add elite defense or rebounding.

I'd also go with #2.

Cheater!!!! Also, #2 will be a PF after this season when his growth matches his skill set. He's got low BH and PAS for a SF. But at the moment, with a young team with 0 seniors, someone has to play SF. #2 will reach something like....

87 ATH, 46 SPD, 83 REB, 94+ DEF, 80+ LP, 64+ PER.

I can't wait till he's an upperclassman!
