Player Profile: Tex Rogers - Hardball Dynasty Baseball | WhatIfSports

Anybody seen this before? Had a player get hit with DITR last season. After rollover his stamina decreased by 5. No injuries last season. What gives?

How much money do you have in your training budget?

Maxed 20 training

I put in a ticket and they said that sometimes stamina goes down in the off-season. I have never seen this before on a young player without injury.

I've seen it before on DITR, for both starters and relievers.

For relievers it makes more sense, like if a guy has dur of 75 and then DITR boosts Stam to like 55 and then it resets to Max of 50 or whatever...

For starters it makes slightly less sense, but I've seen it happen. That's why you want your candidates to be 33dur-60stam, not 33dur-90stam. There's less to gain from the boost.

I was hesitant to say it earlier, because it's only a guess on my part, but I'm thinking the same. I'd estimate a 31/95 guy could throw 300 innings. Could throw 125 every start in a five man rotation on full rest. Dropping him back just makes it a little more realistic.

Ok. I used him as a long relief pitcher in the minors before his ditr, so I wanted to make sure it wasn't how he was being managed.

I just wish the admin would tell me the specific reasons this happened instead of giving me, "it happens sometimes".
